"When Sue decided we needed a "grey" to "round-out" the color scheme of our herd, we surfed the Net looking for the right girl. We visited farm web sites from coast to coast until we spotted a beautiful Rose Grey from Chase Tavern Farms in Maine. We had met Tim at a show and was not only impressed with his animal but felt he was a man of integrity and could be trusted to spend money on an animal sight unseen.

We were right! Betsy was big, beautiful and bore us an outstanding cria. We knew she had prize winning fleece (1st at Estes Fleece Show) and her baby girl is a mirror image of her mother.

When we were looking for a male to add density to our herd, of course, we turned to Chase Tavern for an Altiplano boy and he is more than we hoped for... it says something about a farm when you buy an animal sight unseen and turn around and do it again without hesitation."
